Mark Hyder is a sculptor and digital artist. He is currently part of the group exhibition “Bonsai” at Greenham Arts Centre, Newbury with five other artists including fellow HappyCarrot artist, Richard Waites. He has also recently been accepted to show his digital artwork in a Beijing gallery as part of the 2008 Olympics.

Mark’s work deals with cognitive processes and the transient nature of perception and interpretation. It is particularly personal in that it deals with his own philosophical outlook and understanding of existing social constructs.

Mark’s images are a combination of sculpture, photography and digital interventions. The creative process allows him to eradicate any definite boundaries between the different disciplines and create a more fluid or blurred transition of ideas.
